This pendant belongs to my Beneath the Trees series, featuring botanical and natural specimens found on hikes throughout the Pacific Northwest. They reflect microcosms of undergrowth, the beauty and mystery of the very small pieces of nature that can be overlooked.
This pendant features a triangular shaped resin stone which houses a little cluster of lichen. The lichen has been gathered in the woods in the Pacific Northwest and gives the 'stone' a wonderful depth to this terrarium style pendant. The cabochon has been set in a fine silver bezels and sits atop layered sterling with stamped detail.
